I’m Sonia, a letter-slinging, brand-cooking, thing-doodling designer in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Part Kiwi, part Croatian, proudly straddling both.
I’m ultimately a connector – of things, stories and people. I am a brand builder of big stories, small tales and the straws to clutch in-between. My happy place is often in search of the uncommon, trying to find a playful twist on a design problem.
I wear a lot of hats; from strategy to being on the tools, campaign design to copywriting, concepting to mac op. Throw illustration, type design and lettering in there, and you’ve got a pretty good picture of what I’m about.
Currently found playing with type at Desk of Sonia. Occasionally chatting design at Massey University Sometimes doodling via Open for Leisure.
